Qualifications
ICMG (International Certified Master Groomer) - IPG
International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG) sets industry standards for pet and staff safety, health, sanitation, and groomer ethics and grooming expertise. Testing includes advanced breed profile grooming, with specialized training for the handling of senior pets, toy size dogs and double coated breeds demonstrating abilities and skills through testing and independent evaluation. The certification is a recognition of safety, knowledge, compassionate treatment and humane handling of pets in care.
Certified Fear Free
The Fear Free Groomer Certification Program teaches the use of Fear Free concepts to ensure that the grooming experience is as enjoyable as possible for every pet, every time.
In addition, measures are taken to ensure that the salon environment is set up to help ensure Fear Free grooms, from the moment a pet enters the salon, throughout the groom, and until the moment they leave. This includes salon layout, lighting, sights, sounds, smells, entrances and exits, and more.
